Present: Supervisor Alexander G. Gabriels III, Councilmen Scott Andersen, Jason
Saris,
Robert MacEwan, Owen Maranville, Town Clerk Kathleen Simmes
Supervisor Gabriels stated that because one insurance representative could not
make the meeting, it was postponed until 1:00 p.m. on December 7th.
Supervisor Gabriels opened the meeting at 1:10 p.m. on December 7, 2006.
The board reviewed the insurance quotes from:
TD Banknorth in the amount of $68,309.14
Marshall & Sterling in the amount of $66,378.00
RESOLUTION#260
Councilman MacEwan moved seconded by Councilman Saris to accept the low bid from
Marshall & Sterling in the amount of $66,378 for the Town’s insurance for the
period of 12-7-06 to 12-7-07 and to authorize the Supervisor to sign the
policies. The Town will not be taking terrorism insurance. For the record the
following statement was made regarding their own insurance: Do you use Marshall
& Sterling?
Supervisor Gabriels no, Councilman Saris no, Councilman Maranville no,
Councilman MacEwan no, Councilman Andersen yes, and NoRoWal Marina yes. All
Favorable. Motion Carried.
Councilman Saris moved seconded by Councilman MacEwan to adjourn at 1:15 p.m.
All Favorable. Motion Carried.
